Replacing the air filter (Hyundai Sonata Y3)

The air filter gets dirty during operation, which can significantly reduce its efficiency. In this case, it should be replaced with a new one.

1. Remove the air supply hose.

2. Disconnect the air flow meter connector from the air cleaner filter cover.

3. Disconnect the air cleaner filter cover clamp.

Warning: The air cleaner cover must be removed with care as it contains an air flow meter.

4. Remove the air filter cover.

5. Remove the air cleaner filter.

6. Install the new air cleaner filter, then replace the air cleaner filter cover.
