Fuel delivery system — tank, fuel lines and connections (Hyundai Sonata Y3)

1. Check for damage or tightness of wires and connections.

2. Check the fuel hoses for heating and mechanical damage. Hard and brittle rubber, cracks, tears, cuts, areas of wear and swelling indicate deterioration in the quality of the rubber.

3. If the fabric casing of the rubber hose in the fuel system is damaged, there are cracks and areas of abrasive wear, the hoses should be replaced.

Fuel filter



The fuel filter must be replaced regularly, as its performance is adversely affected by dirt and water accumulated over a long period of use. Replace as necessary.
