Removal
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the right floor console trim (1).

3. Disconnect the drive connector (2). Loosen the screws and remove the drive (3).

Installation
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Examination
5. Turn off the ignition.
6. Disconnect the drive connector.
7. Apply voltage 12 V to contact 3 and ground the contact 4 drive connector. Check that the servo shaft rotates in the direction of increasing temperature. Reverse the polarity of the connection and check that the shaft rotates in the opposite direction (decreasing temperature).

8. Measure the voltage between the contacts 7 and 6 drive connector.
Note: If the voltage value is less than 0.1 V or more than 4.9 V, the drive is faulty and must be replaced.
