Removal
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Using a screwdriver, remove the sensor (B) from the windshield deflector (A).
Installation
3. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
Examination
4. Turn on the ignition.
5. By changing the sensor illumination level (using a regular lamp), check the change in the sensor output voltage. The voltage should increase with the sensor illumination intensity increase and decrease with its decrease.
