Removal
Drain the coolant below the sensor installation level.
Disconnect the battery and temperature sensor connector

Remove the sensor (Fig. 2.155).
Installation
Apply the recommended sealant to the sensor threads. Tighten the sensor to the specified torque.
Sealant: Three Bond No.1324N or Loctite 262.
Coolant temperature sensor tightening torque: 20–40 Nm.
Connect the temperature sensor connector.
Connect the battery.
Fill the cooling system.
