Tightening torque, Nm
Removal
1. Drain the liquid through the drain hole by unscrewing the plug.
2. Remove the pin, washer and cotter pin.
3. Disconnect the hydraulic drive from the master cylinder side.
4. Remove the master cylinder mounting bolt.
5. Remove the clamps from the hydraulic drive line.
6. While holding the nut on the hydraulic hose, loosen the nipple on the hydraulic tube (see picture).
7. Remove the clamp from the hydraulic hose and pull the hose out of the bracket.
8. Remove the hydraulic drive line.
9. Disconnect the hydraulic tube from the hydraulic hose side.
Examination
1. Check the hydraulic hose and tube for blockages and cracks.
Installation
1. Connect the hydraulic drive from the working cylinder side.
2. Temporarily tighten the fitting by hand, then tighten it to the torque specified in the specification, being careful not to twist the pipe.
3. Install the hydraulic tube and clamps.
4. Install the master cylinder.
5. Apply grease as specified to the pin and washer.
Lubricant specification: SAE J310a, NLGI No. 2 wheel bearing grease.
6. Connect the rod to the clutch pedal.
7. Fill the clutch master cylinder with fluid.
8. Bleed the system.
