Tightening torque, Nm
Removal
1. Remove the cotter pin, washer and stud.
2. Remove the clutch pedal mounting bolt.
Examination
1. Check the clutch pedal shaft and bushing for wear.
2. Check that the pedal is not bent or twisted.
3. Check the return spring for wear and damage.
4. Check the clutch pedal pad for damage and wear.
Checking the ignition interlock switch
1. Disconnect the connector.
2. Check the continuity of the circuit between the switch contacts.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
2. Apply multi-purpose grease to the bushing.
3. Apply multi-purpose grease to the pin and washer.
4. Connect the rod to the clutch pedal.
5. Adjust the height of the clutch pedal.
6. Adjust the clutch pedal free play around the pin.
