- poor quality adjustment;
- faults in hydraulic or mechanical systems;
- malfunctions in the computer or the computer's electrical circuit.
First of all, check the level and condition of the oil in the gearbox and the adjustment of the rods.
After driving to warm up the transmission, check the transmission fluid level.
Check the engine idle speed.
Check the accelerator cable for freedom of movement and adjust it if necessary.

Check the operation of the gear selection mechanism.
If a malfunction occurs in one of the following components that ensure normal operation of the automatic transmission (AT), the AT selector lever N position indicator lamp starts to flash. In this case, check the fault codes.
Elements whose malfunction causes the N position light of the automatic transmission selector lever to flash:
- engine crankshaft speed sensor;
- input shaft speed sensor;
- output shaft speed sensor;
- one of the electromagnetic control valves;
- mismatch of gear shift moments.
Caution: If the N·mode indicator lamp flashes twice as fast, this means that the temperature of the working fluid in the automatic transmission is too high.
Stop the vehicle and wait until the N·mode indicator lamp goes out.
Error codes are read using a special device, or using the N position light on the gear selector lever.
