Removal



1. Remove the rear seat cushion.

Note: Be sure to release the pressure before disconnecting the main line, otherwise fuel will spill out.


3. After stopping the engine, turn off the ignition, then reconnect the electrical connector of the fuel pump.

4. After disconnecting the high pressure hose and return hose, connect the hose to the fuel pump and pump out fuel from the tank until it is half full.

1. Install the fuel tank by tightening the self-locking nuts.

2. Connect the level hose to the fuel tank approximately 40mm into the filler neck.

5. To connect the high pressure hose to the fuel pump, tighten the fitting by hand and then tighten it to the specified torque. Be careful not to twist the hose.
  • Tightening torque: High pressure hose nipple - 30-40 Nm

Warning: When tightening the fitting, be careful not to twist or bend the line.


6. Connect the fuel pump electrical connector.

7. Tighten the drain plug to the specified torque.
  • Tightening torque: Drain plug - 15-25 Nm
