Removal
1. Remove the bushing and accelerator cable from the accelerator lever side.
2. After disconnecting the accelerator switch connector, 'loosen' the accelerator lever bracket bolts and remove it.
Examination
1. Check the inner and outer cables for damage.
2. Check the smooth movement of the cable.
3. Check if they are bent.
4. Check if the return spring is stretched.

Installation
1. When installing the return spring and throttle lever, apply multi-purpose grease around each moving part of the throttle lever.
2. Place the semi-dry type seal into the mounting hole, and then tighten the accelerator lever bracket.
- Tightening torque: Accelerator lever bracket bolts - 8-12 Nm
3. Install the accelerator cable rubber bushing onto the end of the accelerator lever.
4. Apply general purpose grease around the end of the cable.
