Checking the proportional valve (brake force regulator) (Hyundai Accent MC)

1. Disconnect the front (1) and rear (2) brake pipes from the master cylinder (3). Connect two pressure gauges (4) to the holes of the disconnected pipes.

Note: After connecting the pressure gauges, bleed the air from the brake system.

2. Press the brake pedal to create pressure A in the front brake circuit. Read the pressure in the rear brake circuit A'.

3. Press the brake pedal again to build up pressure IN in the front brake circuit. Read the pressure in the rear brake circuit IN'.



4. Remove the pressure gauges, connect the brake pipes and remove air from the system.
