Note: The procedure for checking and adjusting the parking brake lever is described in Chapter "Maintenance".
Removal
Note: Parking brake cables must not be damaged or twisted.
1. Remove the center console.
2. Loosen the cable adjusting nuts (1) and disconnect the cables from the lever.
3. Disconnect the connector from the parking brake switch (2).
4. Unscrew the screws (3) and remove the parking brake lever.
Installation
5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
