1. Pull the parking brake lever towards you with a force of approximately 196 N (20 kgf) and count the number of clicks of the lever.
Parking brake lever travel (normal) - 7-8 clicks
2. If the number of teeth in the toothed sector does not correspond to the norm, adjust the length of the cable using the adjusting nut.
3. The indicator light should go out when the parking brake is completely released and will come on if the lever is moved one tooth. If this does not happen, replace the indicator.
4. After adjustment, make sure that the rear brakes do not grab when the parking brake is released.
