Warning. Avoid contact of brake fluid with painted surfaces of the vehicle body. Wash it off immediately.
Note: When bleeding by pumping fluid under pressure, do not press the brake pedal.
2. Connect a vinyl tube to the air bleed valve and lower the other end into a jar half filled with brake fluid.
3. Slowly press the brake pedal several times.
4. While keeping the brake pedal fully depressed, open the bleed valve until brake fluid begins to flow out of its lower end. Then close the valve.
5. Repeat the operation several times until air bubbles stop being released along with the brake fluid.
6. Tighten the air release valve.
Tightening torque of the air release valve
- Rear valves - 7-9 Nm
7. Repeat the above operations for each wheel in the sequence shown in the figure.
