Execution order
1. Start the engine and let it run at idle speed.
2. Check that the accelerator cable does not have any free play.
3. If the accelerator cable has free play, adjust it as follows:
- loosen the adjusting nut so that the throttle lever is free;
- eliminate sharp kinks in the accelerator cable;
- to move the cable housing toward the throttle lever, turn the adjusting nut until the throttle lever begins to move, then back it off one turn and lock the adjusting nut.
