When connecting pipe and hose, be sure to align the white markings on each piece.
Pressure hose and pipe
1. Remove the air intake pipe.
2. Remove the pressure hose clamp.
3. Disconnect the pipe fitting on the steering gear side.
4. Raise the vehicle and remove the clamp securing the pressure and return pipes.
5. Lower the car and remove the connector (24 mm).
6. Remove pressure hose and tube.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- 1. Install the pressure hose and tube so that they are not twisted and do not touch the moving parts of the car.
- 2. Bleed the hydraulic drive of the power steering.
Return hose and pipe
1. Remove the power steering reservoir from the bracket.
2. Remove the return pipe and hose clamps.
3. Remove the air intake pipe.
4. Disconnect the pressure pipe and return pipe fitting from the steering gear.
5. Raise the vehicle and remove the clamp securing the pressure and return pipes.
6. Lower the vehicle and remove the return tube and hose clamp.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
- 1. Install the return hose and tube so that they are not kinked and do not touch the moving parts of the vehicle.
- 2. Bleed the hydraulic drive of the power steering.
Examination
1. Hand twist the hose and check for damage or cracks.
2. Make sure that there is no contact between the hose and other elements of the car.
