It is recommended to check the power steering hydraulic hose connections at the intervals specified in the periodic maintenance chart in the Service Book.
Power steering hoses must be replaced if cracks, stretching or wear spots are detected. Deterioration of the hoses' technical condition can lead to premature failure of the power steering.
