Replacing lamps in lighting fixtures (Hyundai Getz 1)

Before attempting to replace the lamp, make sure the switch is in the "OFF" position.

The pictures on the next page show how to replace light bulbs. Replace burnt-out bulbs with bulbs of the same wattage.

Warning: Do not allow petroleum products (oil, gasoline, etc.) to come into contact with the pump


1. Let the lamp cool down. Put on protective glasses.

2. Hold the lamp by the plastic base, do not touch the glass bulb with your hands.

3. Disconnect the power wire from the back of the plastic base on the rear of the headlight.

5. Press the lamp spring to remove it.

6. Remove the protective cap from the bulb to be replaced and install the new bulb by aligning the plastic base of the bulb with the hole in the headlight. Fasten the bulb spring, install the protective cover and connect the power cable.

7. When disposing of the old lamp, use the protective cap and cardboard packaging.

8. Check that the headlight beam is adjusted correctly.

Warning: This halogen lamp is filled with pressurized gas and may explode if hit. Always wear safety glasses when handling lamps. Protect the lamp from sand, scratches, and liquids while in use. Only turn on the lamp when it is installed inside the headlight. Replace the headlight if it is damaged or cracked. Keep lamps out of reach of children and dispose of used lamps with care.
