The tension of the drive belts must be periodically checked and adjusted if necessary. Also, check belts for cracks, wear, fraying, or other signs of aging and replace if necessary.
Also follow that. so that the belts do not come into contact with other parts of the Engine. After replacing the drive belt, re-adjust after two or three weeks to eliminate slack after running in (the belt will stretch a little at this time).
Diesel engine
1 - Automatic tensioner pulley
2 - Generator pulley
3 - Power steering pump pulley
4 - Air conditioning compressor pulley
During periodic maintenance, check the belts for cracks, wear, fraying, or other signs of aging and replace if necessary.
Also make sure that the belts do not come into contact with other parts of the engine.
