To check the steering wheel play, set the front wheels parallel to the longitudinal axis of the car, and turn the steering wheel slightly in both directions. Do not press the steering wheel hard and feel the difference in resistance to steering wheel rotation, which indicates the limits of play.
If the steering wheel play exceeds the maximum allowable value, take your vehicle to an authorized HYUNDAI dealer for adjustment or replacement of parts as necessary.
