
1. Remove the cap from the hub.
2. Remove the drive shaft nut.
3. Raise the vehicle on a lift and place supports underneath it.
4. Remove the wheels.
5. Remove the brake assembly and hang it with wire.

6. Disconnect the lower arm ball joint from the steering knuckle using a special tool.
7. Disconnect the ball joint of the tie rod from the steering knuckle using a special tool.

8. Disconnect the drive shaft from the hub using a special tool.
9. Remove the hub and steering knuckle assembly from the suspension strut.
10. Check for hub cracks and spline wear, cuff cracks and damage, brake disc scoring and damage.
11. Check for cracks on the steering knuckle.
12. Check the bearing for serviceability.
