Withdrawal
1. Drain the coolant and disconnect the radiator outlet hose from the coolant pump.
2. Remove the drive belt into the pump pulley.
3. Remove the toothed belt covers and idler pulley.
4. Turn away bolts of fastening of the pump and remove an adjusting lath of the generator.
5. Remove the pump from the block of cylinders.
Examination
1. Check each part for cracks, damage and wear and replace the water pump if necessary.
2. Check the bearings for damage, excessive noise and rough rotation and replace the pump if necessary.
3. Check for coolant leakage. Fluid leaking from port A indicates a seal failure. Replace coolant pump.
Installation
1. Clean the gasket-facing surfaces of the coolant pump and cylinder block.
2. Fit a new pump gasket to the pump and tighten the bolts to the correct torque.
Tightening torque: Pump to cylinder block - 12-15 Nm
3. Install the toothed belt and its tension pulley and adjust the tension of the toothed belt.
4. Install the toothed belt covers.
5. Install the pump pulley and drive belt, and then adjust its tension.
6. Fill the system with clean coolant.
7. Start the engine and check for leaks.
