1. Apply a force of 100 N, pulling or pressing on it at point A, measure the deflection and compare it with the standard.

2. Use the gauge to measure the deflection at point A.

Note
1. A belt that has been in use for 5 minutes or more should be adjusted as a used belt.
2. Make sure the belt is installed correctly.
3. A loose belt produces a high-pitched whistling sound.
4. Too tight a belt can cause damage to the bearings.
