1. Apply a force of 100 N by pulling or pressing on it at point A, measure the deflection and compare it with the norm.
2. Use a deflection gauge at point A.
Note
1. A belt that has been in use for 5 minutes or more should be adjusted like a used belt.
2. Make sure the belt is installed correctly.
3. A loose belt makes a high-pitched whistling sound.
4. Too much tension on the belt can damage the bearings.
