Removal



1. Loosen the coolant pump pulley mounting bolts.

2. Unscrew the generator support nut.

2. Unscrew the generator support nut.


3. Loosen the generator lock bolt and remove the belt.

4. Loosen the coolant pump pulley mounting bolts and remove the coolant pump pulley.

Tightening torques:
  • Generator support nut A - 20-25 Nm
  • Generator Locking Bolt B - 15-22 Nm

Examination



Perform the following checks and replace the belt if necessary.

1. Check the belt surface for damage, peeling or cracks.

2. Make sure there is no oil or grease on the belt surface.

3. Check the belt for wear and hardened areas.

4. Check for cracks or damage on the pulley surfaces.

Installation



1. Install the coolant pump pulley onto the pulley hub and tighten its mounting bolts securely.

2. After installing the belt, adjust its tension.
