Removal
1. Drain the engine oil.
2. Remove the drive belts.
3. Remove the timing belt.
4. Remove the oil pan.
5. Remove the oil receiver. Tightening torque: 15-22 Nm.
6. Remove the generator.
7. Remove the compressor drive belt tensioner bracket (1).

8. Loosen the screws and remove the front crankcase cover.
9. Loosen the screws and remove the oil pump cover (2).

10. Remove the outer (3) and inner (4) rotors from the pump housing.

11. Unscrew the plug (5) and remove the spring (6) and plunger (7).

Installation
12. Install the plunger and spring of the pressure reducing valve, then screw in the plug. Tightening torque: 39-49 Nm.
13. Install the rotors into the housing so that the marks are directed towards the pump cover.
14. Install the oil pump cover and secure it with 7 screws. Tightening torque: 6-7 Nm.
15. Install the new front crankcase cover gasket onto the cylinder block.
16. Apply clean engine oil to the oil pump seal.
17. Install the front crankcase cover and tighten the mounting screws. Screw length: (8) = 30 mm; (9) = 22 mm; (10) = 45 mm; (11) = 60 mm. Tightening torque: 20-27 Nm.

18. Apply a thin layer of engine oil to the lips of the front crankshaft oil seal.
19. Using a suitable drift, install the front oil seal.

20. Further installation is carried out in reverse order.
21. Fill the lubrication system with clean engine oil.
