Removal
1. Drain the coolant until its level is below the thermostat.
2. Remove the inlet pipe (1), gasket (2) and thermostat (3). Tightening torque: 15-20 Nm.
Note: When installing the thermostat, replace the inlet manifold gasket.

Examination
3. Immerse the thermostat in water and heat it slowly. Check the temperature of the valve opening start. Nominal value: 82±1.5°C. If the temperature does not correspond to the set one, replace the thermostat.

4. Check the thermostat valve stroke. Nominal value: not less than 8 mm at 95°C. If the valve stroke does not correspond to the nominal value, replace the thermostat.
Installation
5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
6. Fill the system with coolant and check for leaks.
