Withdrawal
1. Drain the coolant so that its level is below the thermostat.
2. Remove the inlet (1), gasket (2) and thermostat (3). Tightening torque: 15-20 Nm.
Note: Replace the inlet gasket when installing the thermostat.
Examination
3. Immerse the thermostat in water and heat it up slowly. Check the opening temperature of the valve. Rated value: 82±1.5°C. If the temperature is not as specified, replace the thermostat.
4. Check thermostat valve travel. Rated value: not less than 8 mm at 95°C. If valve travel is not within specification, replace thermostat.
Installation
5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
6. Fill the system with coolant and check for leaks.
