Checking the radiator cap
1. Remove the radiator cap, apply coolant to the seal and install the cap on the pressure testing device.
2. Create a pressure of 93.16-122.58 kPa and check its drop. If the pressure drops, replace the radiator cap.
Checking the radiator for leaks
3. Connect the pressure testing device to the radiator, after removing the cover.
4. Create excess pressure of 93.16-122.58 kPa. Check for coolant leaks and pressure changes.
Checking the radiator fan
5. Apply battery voltage to the fan connector contacts and check its operation. Check for any extraneous noise when the electric motor is running.
