2. Apply pressure with the device until the pressure gauge needle stops deflecting.
3. Make sure that the valves open at a pressure of at least 93.2-122.6 kPa.
4. If opening occurs at a pressure less than specified, replace the radiator cap.
Note. Before checking, make sure that the radiator cap is clean, because if there is rust or other contaminants on the gasket, the results of the test may be distorted.
