Checking the radiator cap (Hyundai Tucson JM)

1. Remove the radiator cap, wet the cap gasket with coolant and install the cap on the testing device.



2. Create pressure with the device until the pressure gauge needle stops moving.

3. Make sure that the valves open at a pressure of at least 93.2-122.6 kPa.

4. If opening occurs at a pressure less than the specified one, replace the radiator cap.

Note: Before checking, make sure the radiator cap is clean, as rust or other contaminants on the cap gasket may distort the test results.
