Water pump
1. Drain the coolant from the system.
2. Remove the implement drive belt.
3. Remove the camshaft drive belt.
4. Remove the intermediate pulley of the drive belt.
5. Remove water pump (A) and gasket (IN).
Thermostat
Note. Removing the thermostat from the cooling system will adversely affect engine performance by reducing the efficiency of the cooling system. It is not recommended to remove the thermostat, even if the engine overheats.
1. Remove engine cover.
2. Drain the coolant so that its level is at or below the thermostat level.
3. Remove the bottom hose.
4. Remove the inlet pipe (A) and thermostat (IN).
