Removal and installation the power steering pump (Hyundai Accent MC)

1. Oil tank; 2. Booster pump; 3. Pressure tube; 4. Return pipe; 5. Steering mechanism; 6. Working fluid cooler

Removal

1. Loosen the hollow screw and disconnect the pressure pipe (1) from the pump (2). Tightening torque: 55-65 Nm.

2. Disconnect the supply hose (3) from the branch pipe (4).

2. Disconnect the supply hose (3) from the branch pipe (4).

3. Loosen the adjusting screw (5) and remove the pump drive belt. Tightening torque: 25-33 Nm.

4. Unscrew the nut and bolt (6) and remove the pump from the bracket. Tightening torque: 20-27 Nm.

Installation

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
