Checking the technical condition
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Disconnect the injector connector.
3. Measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 2 of the injectors.
4. Check that the resistance matches the specification.
Removal
1. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position and disconnect the negative (-) cable from the battery.
2. Release any residual pressure in the fuel line.
Caution: A diagnostic trouble code (DTC) may be set after removing the fuel pump relay. Clear this code using the GDS after completing the fuel line pressure relief work.
3. Disconnect the injector connector (A).
4. Loosen the bolt (B) of the harness mounting bracket.
5. Loosen the fastening nut and disconnect the fuel supply line (C).
6. Loosen the mounting bolt (D) and remove the fuel rail and injector assembly.

7. Remove the clips (A) and disconnect the injectors from the fuel rail.

Installation
Attention.
- Tighten the component mounting bolts to the specified torque.
- Be careful not to drop the component. If dropped, the component must be carefully checked before installation.
- Lubricate the injector sealing rings with engine oil.
- During installation, inspect the injector sealing rings.
- Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
Note: Tightening torque:
- Fuel rail mounting bolt: 18.6 - 23.5 Nm.
- Fuel rail and fuel supply line fastening nut: 7.8 - 9.8 Nm.
