General information
1. The hydraulic transmission control system consists of the following units:
- 1) Oil pump: creates hydraulic pressure.
- 2) Regulator: maintains hydraulic pressure at a constant level.
- 3) Solenoid valves: convert TCM signals into hydraulic pressure.
- 4) Pressure regulating valve: controls the hydraulic pressure acting on the clutches and brakes according to the hydraulic pressure from the solenoid valves.
- 5) Individual valves: transmit pipeline pressure to various oil lines.
These elements are located in the valve body.
2. Independent electronic control of the hydraulic pressure of the clutches and brakes by switching solenoid valves ensures smooth and very responsive gear changes.
3. The oil filter is installed in only one place. Also, the use of newly developed automatic transmission fluid (ATF) ensures significantly longer transmission life.
4. To prevent ATF leakage from the valve body, clutches and brakes when the engine is off, the valve drain channels are connected to a single drain channel located at the top of the body, and a ball valve is installed at the end of the water drain line.

5. If an electronic control system malfunction occurs, the commutator valve and the original valve arrangement allow movement in 3rd gear or reverse gear.
