2. Make sure the inner throttle cable has no slack.
3. If the cable is slack, adjust it as follows:
- 1) Loosen the adjusting nut and the throttle lever will release.
- 2) Eliminate sharp bends in the cable.
- 3) Turn the adjusting nut until the throttle lever starts to move, then turn it back one turn and lock it securely to move the outer cable towards the throttle lever.
