Removal
1. After the wheel has been removed, remove the brake drum.
2. Remove the shoe spring, the automatic adjusting mechanism spring and the adjusting mechanism lever.
3. Disconnect the pads and remove the pad adjusting mechanism.
4. Remove the brake shoe tension spring.
Examination
1. Measure the inner diameter of the brake drum. Use a dial indicator to check the drum runout and wear.
2. Measure the thickness of the brake linings.

3. Check if the brake lining fits well on the drum.
4. Check the outer surface of the wheel cylinder for damage and rust.
5. Check the support disk for wear and damage.
Installation
It is carried out in the reverse order of removal. In this case, grease is applied to the areas shown in the figure, the contact surfaces of the pad and the disc.
