Tightening torques: Nm (kgf cm, lb ft)
Removal
1. Remove the right front turn signal.
2. Disconnect the ABS relay connector inside the fender.
3. Disconnect the pump motor wiring and remove the ABS relay box mounting bolts.
4. Remove the relay box from its mounting bracket.
5. Disconnect the pump motor connector from the relay box bracket and remove the bracket.
6. Remove the engine cooling system expansion tank.
7. Disconnect the brake lines from the ABS modulator.
8. Remove the modulator mounting bolts and the modulator.
Warnings:
- 1. Never try to disassemble the modulator.
- 2. The modulator must be transported and stored in a certain position and with the openings closed. Liquid must not drain from it.
Installation
1. It is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
2. Tighten the modulator mounting bolts and brake line nuts to the specified torque.
Tightening torque:
- Modulator mounting bolt - 17-26 Nm
- Brake line nut - 13-17 Nm
3. Bleed the brake system.
