Disassembly
1. Remove the piston retaining ring using pliers.

2. Remove the pusher and piston.
3. Remove the piston seat with the spring.
Examination
4. Check the inner surface of the cylinder for burrs and scratches.
5. Check the cleanliness of the pipeline fitting.
6. Measure the inner diameter of the cylinder and the outer diameter of the piston. Calculate the clearance between the cylinder body and the piston. The maximum clearance value is 0.15 mm.
Note: Measurements should be taken at three levels (top, middle and bottom) in two mutually perpendicular directions.
7. If the clearance is greater than the limit value, replace the slave cylinder and/or piston.
Assembly
8. Apply brake fluid to the inner surface of the cylinder (A) and the outer surface of the piston (B).
9. Install the piston, snap ring and push rod.
A. Inner diameter of the cylinder
B. Piston outside diameter
Clearance limit: 0.15 mm
