Checking the Idle Air Control Valve (ISCA)

Checking the signal shape

With the engine idling, check the regulator signal: 1 - Closing control signal; 2 - Opening control signal.

Checking the regulator

Turn off the ignition, disconnect the connector and measure the resistance of the regulator. Nominal value: 14.6-16.2 Ohm (pins 1 and 2); 11.1-12.7 Ohm (contacts 2 and 3).

15%0,7-1,7
35%6,0-11,2
70%30,0-42,0
96%45,0-55,0

Checking the wiring

With the ignition on, measure the voltage between the contacts of the wire part of the connector and the ground.
