
Checking the sensor
Remove the coolant temperature sensor and place the measuring part of the sensor in water. Slowly heating the water, measure the resistance of the sensor between contacts 1 and 3 of the sensor connector.

Checking the wiring
With the ignition on, measure the voltage between the contacts of the wire part of the connector and the ground.
