Checking the valve

Turn off the ignition and disconnect the valve connector. Measure the resistance of the valve winding with an ohmmeter. Nominal value: 6.9-7.9 Ohm (at 20°C).

2. Power supply from the main relay (B+)

The engine control unit controls the valve via a pulse width modulated signal with variable duty cycle.
