A significant part of faults in the engine management system occurs due to violation of the conditions of switching of the peripheral devices of the system and the control unit. These faults are contact faults or unforeseen short circuits. Using the electrical connection diagrams and connector contact arrangement diagrams provided in this manual, you can check the serviceability of the wiring using an ordinary tester.
In addition, a number of peripheral devices can be tested using an ohmmeter.
We do not provide methods for working with special diagnostic testers in this manual, since all the necessary control actions are included in the software of these testing devices (or described in the instructions for the devices).
