Warning! Do not open the radiator cap when the engine is hot, as the cooling system is under pressure and opening the cap may cause hot fluid to escape, which may cause severe burns. Wait until the engine has cooled down before opening the radiator cap.
If the gauge needle moves out of the permissible range toward the "H" position, this indicates engine overheating, which can damage the engine. Open the hood and check the coolant level in the expansion tank and the condition and tension of the water pump drive belt.
