Turn signal switch

When you move the combination switch down, the turn signals on the left side of the vehicle start to flash. When you move the combination switch up, the turn signals on the right side of the vehicle start to flash. After completing the turn, the switch automatically returns to the neutral position and, at the same time, the turn signals stop flashing. If the turn signal indicator lamp in the instrument cluster flashes more quickly than usual, lights up but does not flash, or does not light up at all, this indicates a malfunction in the turn signal circuits. Check the fuse or bulbs for serviceability.

Switch operating mode when changing rows

If you need to signal a lane change, move the lever up or down part way and hold it in this position. After releasing, the lever automatically returns to the neutral position.

Headlight switch

Turn the drum on the end of the combination switch to turn on the headlights. The first position will turn on the parking lights, side lights, tail lights and instrument cluster lighting. The next position will turn on the headlights.

Outdoor lighting during daytime

Your Hyundai vehicle is equipped with daytime running lights. These lights are used to improve visibility of oncoming traffic. These vehicle lights are designed to operate when the engine is running and the headlight switch is in the "OFF" position. However, the daytime running lights will be turned off when the parking brake is applied.

Headlight high beam switch

To turn on the high beam headlights, push the switch away from you. When the high beam is on, the high beam indicator lamp also lights up. When you move the lever back towards you, the light switches from high to low beam.

High beam signal

To flash the high beam, pull the lever toward you. When released, the lever returns to its place. Flashing of the headlights is possible even if the headlight switch is in the "OFF" position.
