The switch can be set to the following three positions:
  • 1 - intermittent brush movement mode;
  • 2 - slow movement of brushes;
  • 3 - fast movement of brushes.

Warning! To prevent damage to the windshield wiper system, do not attempt to clear heavy snow or ice, and clear accumulated snow or ice manually. If there is only a light layer of snow or ice, turn on the heater in the windshield heating mode and melt the snow or ice before using the windshield wipers.


Windshield washer operation



Washer fluid will be supplied to the windshield when the wiper/washer switch lever is moved towards the steering wheel. If the vehicle is equipped with intermittent wiper mode, then when the windshield washer is turned on, simultaneously with the supply of washing fluid, the wipers will automatically make two strokes while the windshield wiper/washer switch is released.

If the vehicle is not equipped with intermittent wiper operation, then when the windshield washer is turned on, only washing fluid will be supplied as long as the windshield wiper/washer switch is pressed.

Warning! Do not operate the washer for more than 15 seconds or when there is no fluid in the washer reservoir.


Warning: In cold weather, make sure the wiper blades are not frozen to the glass before using the wiper.


Warning: In areas where water freezes in winter, use antifreeze to clean the windshield.


Windshield defogging



To remove fog from the windshield, move the windshield wiper/washer lever up. The wiper blades will make one stroke.

Windscreen wiper operation with variable interval wiper blade operation mode

To use the variable interval wiper mode, move the wiper switch to the "INT" (Intermittent) position. In this switch position, the intermittent wiper interval can be changed in 5 positions by turning the intermittent interval adjustment wheel on the switch lever.
