Note: To avoid damaging the windshield wiper, do not attempt to remove a thick layer of snow or ice from the glass using the wiper. Snow or ice in this quantity must be removed manually. To remove a thin layer of snow or ice, turn on the interior heater to blow air onto the glass and do not turn on the windshield wipers until the snow or ice has melted.

  • Before turning on the windshield wiper in freezing weather, make sure that the blades are not frozen to the glass.
  • In areas with frosty winters, fill the washer reservoir with antifreeze during the winter.

To turn on the wiper in intermittent mode, set the switch to the "INT" position ("Intermittent mode"). In this position, the interval between brush movements can be changed from 1 to 18 seconds by turning the drum interval switch to the appropriate position. The frequency of brush movement also changes automatically depending on the speed of movement.

2. OFF:(Off)
3. INT:(Intermittent mode) When the drum switch is set to this position, the rear window wiper operates intermittently at 5 second intervals.
4. ON:(On) When the switch is in this position, the rear window wiper operates continuously.

The duration of continuous operation of the washer should not exceed 15 seconds. Do not turn on the washer if there is no liquid in its reservoir: the system may fail. Do not allow the cleaner to operate on dry glass: this will cause scratches on the glass and accelerate wear of the brushes.

Therefore, do not turn on the cleaner when the tank is empty.
