The heating of the rear window and outside rear-view mirrors is switched on by pressing a special switch and switched off by pressing it again. At the same time, the rear window heating indicator lamp lights up. The rear window heating switches off automatically after approximately 15 minutes. To resume the heating cycle, press the switch again after the heating has turned off automatically.
Caution: Do not use abrasive glass cleaners to clean the inside surface of the rear window or remove dirt from it with any tool with a sharp edge, as this may damage the heating element conductors.
Note: The rear window defogger will only turn on when the ignition key is in the "ON" position.
