The cigarette lighter is switched on when the ignition key is in the "ACC" ("Additional equipment") or "ON" ("Ignition") position. To turn on the cigarette lighter, press it all the way to the locked position. After heating, the cigarette lighter will return to its original position.
Do not force the cigarette lighter to remain pressed down: this may cause the heating element to burn out and create a fire hazard.
Replace a faulty cigarette lighter only with an original Hyundai cigarette lighter or a certified similar cigarette lighter.
Caution: Only connect genuine Hyundai devices or equipment to the cigarette lighter socket.
