The cigarette lighter can be used when the ignition key is in the "ON" or "ACC" (Accessory) position. To use the cigarette lighter, push the handle of the cigarette lighter all the way in. When the cigarette lighter is hot, it will automatically return to its original position with a click (Fig. 1.62).
Do not hold the cigarette lighter in the fully recessed position. This may damage the heating element and cause a fire.
