Note: On models with heated side mirrors, when the rear window defroster is turned on, the heated side mirrors are simultaneously turned on to remove fogging.
1. The rear door defroster can be turned on when the ignition key is in the "ON".
Attention:
- The power of the rear window defroster is only sufficient to remove fogging, but not enough to melt the snow stuck to the glass. Remove snow from the glass before turning on the rear door glass defroster.
- When wiping the inside of the rear window, use a soft cloth. Wipe the glass carefully along the heater wires to avoid damaging them.
- Do not stick anything on the heater wires. Do not place objects near the rear window that could accidentally touch the heater wires and damage them.
- Prolonged operation of the heater can lead to the discharge of the battery and to the failure of the heater itself.
2. To turn on the heater, press the switch located as shown in the figure. The indicator on the switch will remain lit while the rear door defroster is operating.
3. Heated rear window automatically turns off after 15 minutes. To turn off the heater earlier, press the switch again.
