Note: On models with heated side mirrors, turning on the rear window defroster also turns on the heated side mirrors to help remove fog.
1. The rear door glass defroster can be turned on when the ignition key is in the "ON" position.
Attention:
- The rear window defroster is only powerful enough to remove fogging, but not enough to melt snow stuck to the glass. Remove snow from the glass before turning on the rear window defroster.
- When wiping the inside surface of the rear window, use a soft cloth. Carefully wipe the glass along the heater wires so as not to damage them.
- Do not cover the heater wires with anything. Do not place objects near the rear window that could accidentally touch the heater wires and damage them.
- Long-term operation of the heater may lead to battery discharge and failure of the heater itself.
2. To turn on the heater, press the switch located as shown in the figure. The indicator on the switch will light while the rear door glass heater is operating.

3. The rear window heating automatically turns off after 15 minutes. To turn off the heating earlier, press the switch again.
