2. Do not turn on the wiper when the glass is dry. This can scratch the glass and cause premature wear of the wiper blades.
Note: It is recommended that you replace the wiper blades periodically, as sand and other contaminants on them can scratch the glass.
3. Before turning on the wiper in cold weather, make sure that the brushes are not frozen to the glass. Turning on the wiper with the brushes frozen to the glass can cause the wiper motor to burn out.
4. If the washer does not work, then do not try to turn it on again - check the washer pump.
5. Do not use the washer continuously for more than 15 seconds. Do not operate the washer if there is no washer fluid in the reservoir, as this may cause the washer motor to burn out.
6. Periodically check the fluid level in the washer reservoir and, if necessary, add fluid to it. In cold weather, add a recommended solution to the fluid that will not freeze in the reservoir. Otherwise, the washers may come out failure due to damage to system parts by frozen liquid.
7. When using washers in cold weather, the washer fluid applied to the glass may freeze on it, which will impair visibility. In such weather, turn on the defroster first before using the washer.
