Interior lighting (Hyundai Sonata EF)

Note: To avoid draining the battery, do not leave the interior and luggage compartment lights on for long periods of time when the engine is not running.


1. On the interior light there is a light switch that can be set to the following positions:
  • "DOOR" (middle position), in which the interior lighting comes on when any door of the car is opened. After the door is closed, the lighting goes out within 6 seconds.
  • "OFF" (left position), in which the interior lighting does not come on, even when the door is opened.
  • "ON" (right position), in which the interior lighting is constantly on.

«ON» (right position), in which the interior lighting is constantly on.


2. To turn on the local lighting lamp, press the corresponding switch on the central roof console. This lamp illuminates a small area in the area of the front seats.
